Lauren Jackson

Attorney at Law

Scott Sierens is the president & founder of Sierens Financial Group, Inc. He proudly serves retirees, pre-retirees, independent contractors and their families. Scott’s goal is to positively impact clients’ lives by helping provide them with the clarity and plan they need to make confident and logical financial decisions.

Remembering his parents’ lessons about financial responsibility and utilizing his strengths in planning, Scott entered the financial services industry as an independent financial planner. Scott was drawn to the industry to help families develop a long-term strategy for confident financial futures. He pulls from his family’s values and small-town roots to remain committed to working with his clients’ best interest in mind and treating all clients as an extension of his own family. Scott also works with Roger Sierens, his uncle, who has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. Utilizing Roger’s knowledge and experience is an added benefit in providing the best service for Scott’s clients.

Taking a comprehensive approach is imperative in building a financial plan, and Scott is both an Investment Adviser Representative and a licensed life and health insurance agent. As a financial services professional, he provides a fiduciary standard of service, which means he is responsible for acting in his clients’ best interest. When developing a financial strategy, Scott takes the time to understand his clients’ goals and utilizes his extensive knowledge to provide income planning, investment management, long-term care planning, tax strategies and legacy planning. Most importantly, he helps clients put their plan into action to assist in achieving their retirement goals, lifestyle and desired legacy.

Currently, Scott resides in Chicago's northwest suburbs, where he is active in the Big Brother/Little Brother program. He also volunteers with Rock Steady Boxing, an exercise class for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

Lauren Jackson focuses her practice primarily in the areas of estate planning, real estate, probate and business succession planning, although her background includes contracts and corporate formation as well.

Lauren’s unintimidating, caring approach has garnered her a respectable reputation all over northern Illinois. With her dedication for efficient cost effective services, you will learn that when you retain Lauren you have a reachable attorney with your best interests in mind.

Lauren prides herself on quality work over quantity and it has proved to be beneficial to all parties based on positive client reviews. Lauren eagerly represents individuals in the buying, selling, or leasing of residential and commercial real estate properties. She also likes to work with assisting individuals in making the transfer of their assets upon their death simpler and easier on their loved ones.

Lauren earned her B.A. from Northern Illinois University in 1999 with an emphasis in journalism. She went on to attend the law program at Northern Illinois University and became licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois in 2003.

Lauren began her career clerking for Konicek & Dillon in St. Charles, IL assisting the attorneys with research, drafting petitions, motions and orders for the firm’s representation of its clients in insurance defense matters.   Upon graduation from law school and earning her license to practice law in Illinois, Lauren worked as an associate at Lavelle Law, Ltd. located in Palatine, IL. There she obtained experience in many areas of the law including estate planning, business succession planning, probate, collections and a variety of real estate transactions. In 2008, Lauren was hired at Stewart Title Insurance Company. There she handled title insurance claims from individual homeowners and lenders on properties located all over the mid-west.  In 2014, Lauren went all in on her own Law practice and hasn’t looked back since.
